Légende

The Members' Lobby is a hallway in the Palace of Westminster used by members of the House of Commons, the lower house of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Members of Parliament may congregate here for informal discussions. The Members' Lobby was restored after its destruction in World War II. The bomb-damaged arch at the entrance to the Commons was retained. It is now known as the Churchill Arch. Here we see the Lobby in its original state, before its near destruction in the blitz. From a 'Pictorial Record of Remarkable Events in The History of the World', published by James Sangster and Co., c1910.
