'St Augustin, Bishop of Hippo in discussion'. Monks pray in the background. St Augustine of Hippo (354-430) is regarded as one of the great fathers of the early Christian church. He was converted to Christianity in 386, and became Bishop of Hippo, in North Africa, in 396.
