Edward Hilton Young, lst Baron Kennet (1879-1960), British politician and writer. Sat in Parliament first as a Liberal, then as a Conservative. A delegate to the League of Nations in 1926 and 1927. Married Kathleen Scott (born Bruce), widow of the Antarctic explorer Robert Falcon Scott.
