Princess Charlotte of Wales (1796-1817) only child of George IV of Great Britain and Caroline of Brunswick, with her husband Leopold of Saxe-Coburg (1790-1865) later Leopold I of Belgium, whom she married in 1816. Heiress to the throne and universally popular, she died in childbirth 1817.
