Charles VII the Victorious (1403-1461) king of France from 1422. Crowned in 1429 after the French victory at Patay. His reign saw end of Hundred Years War with England (1453) and he regained all the territory lost to England, apart from the port of Calais. A member of the Valois dynasty.
