Johannes a Lasco or Jan Laski (c1499-1560) Polish Reformation Protestant divine. At Cranmer's invitation, he became leader of the Protestant refugees in London, where he preached during the reign of Edward VI. He left England on the accession of the Roman Catholic Mary I. Engraving 1825.
