Title
This grave was not designated as a royal tomb
Caption
This grave was not designated as a royal tomb because there was no brick-built tomb chamber and no attendants / but the grave goods. Buried behind the head of the male occupant was a gold helmet and in his hands a gold bowl inscribed with the name Meskalamdug. The identity of the man is not certain although it is known that there was a king with this name.
