This tablet records observations of the planet Venus / probably made in the reign of Ammisaduqa / King of Babylon / roughly 1000 years before Ashurbanipal. Modern attempts have been made to use these records to calculate the exact dates of Ammisaduqa's reign however uncertainly persists because the records are inconsistent.
