La Pharmacie Rustique', c1775 (The Country Pharmacy). The composition shows a visit to a country chemist. Illustrated with the interior of Michael Schuppach's pharmacy in Basel, Switzerland, during a consultation. Schuppach seems to be examining a sample of urine brought by a fashionably dressed woman. After a painting of 1774 by G Locher.
