Mosaic detail from The Palazzo Barbarigo, a palace on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. The palazzo was built in the 16th century but the mosaics were added in 1886. Made from of Murano glass and inspired by the exterior mosaics on the facade of St Mark's Basilica.
