Don José de Yanguas y Messía, (1890 - 1974) Spanish noble, politician and diplomat. Ambassador to the Holy See during that of General Francisco Franco. A fervent monarchist, he conspired against the Spanish Second Republic. In the Spanish civil war, He joined the Uprising of 1936 and drew up the Junta's decree of 29 September 1936 that proclaimed Franco Chief of the government of the Spanish State
