The plain of Touvent, 1915.Charge by a company of Zouaves on the plateau Touvent. From September 1914 to July 1915, the 2nd Regiment of Zouaves, one of the best units of the French army was positioned east of Forest Laigue near the towns of Tracy- le-Mont, Tracy- le-Val and Moulin -sous-Touvent. the Zouaves attack repeatedly to erode the German positions.
