The execution of Inca by A.B. Greene. The Spaniards burnt Atahualpa at the stake with a monk presiding holding crucifix to the right. Atahualpa was the last Sapa Inca (sovereign emperor) before the Spanish conquest. He was captured by Pizarro during the conquest and eventually executed effectively ending the Incan Empire.
