Painted in the 1480's, this shows scenes from Livy's history of Rome. The Gaul's attack Rome, identifiable by monuments such as the column of Marcus Aurelius and the Pantheon. A citizen, Lucius Albinus, helps the Vestal Virgins to escape with their sacred vessels in his carriage.
