Customary donkey ride in Montluçon (Allier, central France). The beaten husband is taken for a ride through the town, mounted upside down on a donkey, wearing a cotton cap, armed with a distaff and carrying a sign on his back reading: "Battu par sa femme et content" ("Beaten by his wife and happy").
