Thuner' circa 1728 - 1730, by John Michael Rysbrack (1694-1770). Thuner, the god of thunder, was one of the seven Saxon gods that Rysbrack made for Lord Cobham’s garden at Stowe. They were placed around the Temple of Liberty and formed an integral part of the underlying political theme of the garden.
