The construction of the belt reflects a long tradition in Thai goldsmithing of articulated, linked forms. Gold and diamonds Thailand (Bangkok). Commissioned for H.M. Queen Saowabha Pongsri, wife of King Chulalongkorn of Thailand (Rama V of the Chakri dynasty)
