The Malter Dam is a dam built between 1908 and 1913 in the Free State of Saxony near the town of Malter, which impounds the middle reaches of the Rote Weisseritz. The dam is a curved gravity dam made of quarrystone masonry according to the Intze principle. It is an important element in flood protection up to the Elbe.
