Charles Pichegru (1761-1804), French soldier. He was a supporter of the Bourbons (royalists) and lived in exile in England and Germany after the French Revolution (1789) . He plotted with Candoudal against Napoleon Bonaparte. After his return to Paris, he was arrested and found hanged in prison in front of his trial.
