The new bridge on the Pirna southern bypass will be 916 metres long, 70 metres high and require 7, 250 tonnes of steel. DEGES is building the 3.8 kilometre long route. The route leads from the 172a to the B 172 on the Sonnenstein near Krietzschwitz and is intended to relieve Pirna city centre of through traffic in the future. For this purpose, a 50 metre long and 140 tonne heavy pre-build spigot will be pushed from the abutment on the Sonnenstein over the pillars that are already in place. The final push has been successfully completed and now the finishing work is underway, Gottleuba Valley Bridge, Pirna, Saxony, Germany, Europe
