The Neue Messe Dresden is the name of the conversion project of the heritage-protected site of the Dresden cattle and slaughterhouse in Friedrichstadt into a trade fair and exhibition centre in Dresden. The complementary new building of the foyer is a plain steel and glass cube . Thus, the entrance hall has a transparent glass façade and an exposed steel skeleton structure
