German national football coach and Volkswagen brand ambassador Joachim Löw and Thomas Ulbrich, Member of the Board of Management for Electric Mobility at the Volkswagen brand, set the first pre-series vehicle of the ID.3 in production at GMD. Series production of the ID.3 will start at the Dresden site in January February 2021 - and Joachim Löw will symbolically kick it off with a joystick! At the appointment in the Transparent Factory, the 2014 World Champion coach also received the keys for his personal Volkswagen
