The Dresden TV Tower stands on the slopes of the Elbe River in the Wachwitz district of Dresden and has served as a broadcasting tower for television, radio and mobile communications since 1969. With a total height of 252 metres, it ranks ninth among all television and telecommunications towers in Germany. A reopening has been decided
