Wolkenstein is a town in the Erzgebirge district in Saxony. The oldest and warmest thermal spring in Saxony is located in the Warmbad district. Wolkenstein Castle from the outer castle in the south-west Wolkenstein Castle is a Renaissance castle complex on a mountain spur above the valley of the Zschopau, which dates back to a high medieval castle of the Lords of Waldenburg
