Love beads are dragées made of sugar with a diameter of a few millimetres and coloured in various colours. They are often offered at public festivals and fairs. The first love pearls were completed in 1908 in the Rudolf Hoinkis confectionery factory in Görlitz, which was founded on 16 August 1896 and still exists today
