Winemaker Jan Ullrich has been growing grapes on around 10 hectares of vineyards on the Saxon Wine Route since 1992. For the sake of the environment, he plants fungus-tolerant grape varieties such as Solaris, Johanniter and Regent. Around 100, 000 bottles of wine are produced each year using modern cellar technology
