In the early hours of the morning, a section of the Carola Bridge collapsed for unknown reasons. Over a length of around 100 metres, the section on which the trams normally run has collapsed into the Elbe. Partial demolition has begun and around 10 excavators are tearing down the collapsed bridge section to make room for the imminent flooding of the Elbe., Partial collapse of the Carola Bridge in Dresden, Dresden, Saxony, Germany, Europe
