The Loschwitz cemetery is the second burial ground in Dresden's Loschwitz district that is still in use today, alongside the disused church cemetery of the Loschwitz church. Inaugurated around 1800, it has been a listed building since 1985 due to its numerous valuable artists' graves. Gerhard Stengel was a German painter and graphic artist.
