This former building of the garment tailors was built in 1494 on the foundations of the first guild house from 1274. The medieval association of long-distance and wholesale merchants was called the Worthgilde in Goslar and was the most important guild capable of holding a council. The impressive late Gothic building with its six arcades opening onto the market square as well as a decorative bay window and façade figures bear witness to the wealth of the owners and the town at that time. The figures of Abundantia, the goddess of abundance, and the ducat man crouching beneath her are a particular reference to this fact., Altsatdt, Goslar, Lower Saxony, Germany, Europe
