Heidecksburg Castle is the former residence of the Princes of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt in Rudolstadt, Thuringia, and dominates the cityscape around 60 metres above the old town centre. Today, the castle houses the Thuringian State Museum Heidecksburg and the Thuringian State Archives Rudolstadt
