Activists form a human chain in an attempt to protect their tents during the occupation of the courtyard of the Free University of Berlin by pro-Palestinian activists. Some of the approximately 150 activists began to erect tents. The occupation is linked to the advance of the Israeli army (Israel Defence Forces, IDF) in the southern Gaza Strip near the city of Rafah. The management of the FU Berlin has ordered an evacuation.
