Detroit, Michigan, An experimental, autonomous robot travels the streets of Detroit's Corktown neighborhood, picking up food waste. Here it delivers the waste to Brother Nature, an urban farm, for composting. The robot is operated by a nonprofit called Scrap Soils. It hopes the robot will increase interest in composting while reducing the greenhouse gases required by using a truck for the pickups
