Detroit, Michigan, An experimental, autonomous robot travels the streets of Detroit's Corktown neighborhood, picking up food waste which it delivers to an urban farm for composting. The robot is operated by a nonprofit called Scrap Soils. It hopes the robot will increase interest in composting while reducing the greenhouse gases required by using a truck for the pickups
