St Pantaleon, patron saint of doctors, the sick, midwives and wet nurses. The Vierzehnheiligen Basilica near Bad Staffelstein in the district of Lichtenfels is a pilgrimage church in Upper Franconia. The church, built according to plans by Balthasar Neumann, is dedicated to the Fourteen Saint Helpers and receives around half a million visitors a year
