Anniversary exhibition on Caspar David Friedrich at the Albertinum. Gerhard von Kügelgen Portrait Friedrich. A few days in front of the 250th birthday of Caspar David Friedrich (1774-1840), the Dresden State Art Collections are opening an exhibition of numerous works by the painter on 24 August. On display in the Albertinum are 47 paintings by the artist as well as numerous contemporaries. The exhibition is entitled Caspar David Friedrich. Where it all began. The Caspar David Friedrich exhibition in Dresden, Dresden, Saxony, Germany is expected to attract a great deal of interest from the public
