Info+

Jean-Jacques de Cambacérès (1753-1824) was most likely to have commissioned the Sèvres Imperial factory to create a series of bust sculptures based on his profile to be given as gifts, following the emperor's recommendation. This series had to meet an order of about a hundred copies, however in the end only seven were created.
