The Black Journey was an expedition, with Citroën and his cars, of more than 28,000 kilometres (about 17,500 miles) across Africa, from the 28th October 1924 to the 26th June 1925, organised by Georges Marie Haardt and his deputy Louis-Audouin Dubreuil.
The expedition went from Colomb-Béchard to Madagascar passing through Niger, Chad, Malawi and Lake Victoria.
The goal was not just recreational but also informative, scientific and economic.
