Emiliano Zapata Salazar known as El Caudillo del Sur (1879-1919), one of the main figures of the Mexican revolution of 1910 against president Porfirio Diaz.
Pancho Villa (1878-1923), an outlaw who became general during the Mexican revolution.
The fresco decorated the main hall of the former Hotel de Prado, situated near the town's main park.
