"La Mercuriale" held at the Couvent des Augustins in Paris on 10 June 1559: in front of Protestant heresy, a meeting of the Paris Parliament was held at the Augustins convent in the presence of King Henry II. Opposing his policies, Anne du Bourg was arrested and sentenced to death.
