These jewels are a few of the thousands of valuables the German took from their victims in the Buchenwald concentration camp near Weimar (Germany). The loot, including thousands of weddings rings, gold teeth fillings, was discovered in a cave by troops of the 1st U.S Army now occupying the area (April 1945).
