Detail of the Virgin Mary, depicted in a precious gold embroidered dress, while presenting the patron abbot Andrea. She holds the cartouche with the inscription "tuam fili clementiam" in her left hand. The latin text is a recommendation for the community of Pomposa and for humanity.
