Title
Modena, Ghirlandina Tower, Torresani Hall
Caption
Modena, Ghirlandina Tower, Torresani Hall: the "Capital of the Judge" or "of the Upright Judge and of the Corrupt Judge", work by Campionesi masters, XII - XIII century.
There are three carved scenes. Detail of the first one which represents the good judge crowned by an angel and a man in the act of supplication. The inscription informs us that a crooked judge corrupted by money will give a judgment not in accordance with his conviction.
