Title
Gallo-Roman villa in Séviac
Caption
archeological site of a property dating back to the Gallo-Roman era in Séviac. This Gallo-Roman villa reminds us of the setting in which an aristocratic landowner would have lived during the 4th and 5th centuries. Its era-specific design and mosaic patterns belong to the residential part of the late-Romanic villa, and which forms part of an altogether bigger, older area. This image shows a plate in dedication to Paulette Aragon-Launtet who discovered the gallo-roman site in 1959.
