Money of Sigismond, son of Gondebaud, sanctified by the Catholic Church. Sigismond was King of the Burgundians. Attracted towards the teachings of arianism by his family, he adopted Catholicism as his religion under the influence of Saint Avit, the bishop of Vienna. 19th Century engraving.
