Teresa Cremisi, born in 1945 to an Italian father and Anglo-Indian mother. She is a lexicographer, and co-director of Garzanti. She moved to Paris in 1989 and become Editorial Director of Gallimard, a post which she occupied for 16 years before returning to Flammarion.
