Paul Déroulède (1846-1914). French writer and nationalist militant. Antidreyfusard. Fought during the War of 1870 and took part in the repression of the Commune. Claimed revenge on Germany and demanded French recovery of Alsace and Lorraine. Also one of the chiefs of the anticolonial party. Attempted a coup d'état in 1899 and was bannished and then amnestied in 1905.
