Tancred (1076-1112). In 1097, he embarked for the First Crusade, where he led the conquer of Nicée, was one of the first to enter Jerusalem in 1099, and became Prince of Galilee and Tiberias before taking control of the regency of Antioch in 1100. In 1110, he bought the Krak des Chevaliers and reinforced its fortifications.
