Templars.

Caption

The Order of the Temple was an international religious and military order originating in the Christian knighthood of the Middle Ages. It was created in 1129 by a militia called the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon. In the 12th and 13th centuries, its members accompanied and protected pilgrimages to Jerusalem during the Crusades. After the loss of the Holy Land, it was judged heretical by the pope and dissolved in 1312.
