Casimir Pierre Perier was a French banker and politician (1777-1832). A liberal opposer of Charles X during the Bourbon Restoration and regent of the Bank of France, the embodiment of "Party of Resistance" under the July Monarchy, he was President of the Council of Ministers from 1831 until his death.
