La cuccagna, e tempio illuminato, Collection of festival prints, Bianchi, Giulio Cesare, fl. 1760, Etching, ca. 1771, The print represents the Cuccagna monument erected in 1771 in Corso di Porta Orientale, i.e. Corso di Porta Venezia, Milan, in celebration of the wedding of Maria Beatrice d'Este to Ferdinand, Duke of Austria. A tempietto flanked by two semi-circular flights of stairs is adorned with fowl and game. Animals run about near two Cuccagna trees
